A decade
in the making.
We met. Neither of us planned it.
Neither of us was looking in 2014. We just found each other — in the most unassuming way, in the most ordinary moment. But something quietly shifted that neither of us could explain. Looking back now, we both know: God had already written this before we even showed up to the page.
We became each other's person.
Before anything else, we were friends. The real kind — the kind that doesn't ask for anything and gives everything. Through conversations that went too long, laughter that came too easy, and ordinary moments that didn't feel ordinary at all, we became something to each other that neither of us had a word for yet.
Life took us apart. God used every moment.
There was a season when our paths diverged — and we each walked it alone. It wasn't easy. But we believe, with everything in us, that God was doing something in each of us that the other couldn't do for them. He was preparing us — individually, carefully, lovingly — for exactly this.
We choose each other. Fully. Finally. Forever.
Over a decade in the making. We've both grown. We've both changed. And when we look at each other today, we see not just who we are — but everything it took to get here. Today, in front of God and everyone we love, we say the words that were always coming: I do.
